Addison Zaya, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC is a native to Midland, Texas. She began her education at Midland College, where she was a student athlete. After graduating with her Associates of Applied Sciences, she decided to continue her studies and athletic journey at Hardin Simmons University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015. She then attended The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, where she obtained a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2018. Addison simultaneously specialized in both Primary Healthcare and Specialty Psychiatric Healthcare, studying the design of integrative medicine. Addison is double board certified by The American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and The American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Due to her integrative background, Addison takes a comprehensive and individualized approach to care, with emphasis on preventative interventions. She is able to provide primary care and specialty psychiatric services for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
In her spare time Addison is an exercise enthusiast, continues to enjoy playing volleyball and other sports. She’s often found spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Maggie.
