Roland is currently the Nurse Practitioner for Dr. Laura Slaughter at our McKinney office. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 2000 from the University of Douala, Cameroon, Africa, and a Master of Science degree in Chemistry in 2005 from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, New Jersey. He holds Bachelor of Science (2011) and Master of Science (2017) degrees in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Roland served as a staff nurse for Medical City of Dallas and North Hills Hospital from 2012 to 2014. From November of 2014 through 2017 he was a staff nurse for Green Oaks Hospital, working with adults with psychiatric disorders including psychosis, bipolar disorders, chemical dependency, and schizophrenia.
