Olayemi (Yemi) Ononogbu received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2009 from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, Texas. She received her Master of Science degree in Nursing in 2013 from Texas Woman’s University, Denton, Texas. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse.

Yemi began her career as a Registered Nurse in 2009, working in a general intensive care unit in Lufkin, Texas before returning to the Dallas area for graduate school at Texas Woman’s University. While pursuing her degree, Yemi served a graduate assistant. She has since worked in home health settings as well as in private practice settings as a Nurse Practitioner. Yemi is passionate about helping people and has found this calling specifically in the healthcare field. Yemi involves her patients in designing their treatment plans, which promotes better compliance and ultimately enhances their quality of life.

Outside of work, Yemi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, giving back to the community, cooking, reading, and would love to travel the world.
