Dr. Donachie graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1979 and completed her psychiatric residency in 1983. During the following four years she was an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and the Medical Director of the adult psychiatric unit at Hermann Hospital. She began practicing in the Dallas area in 1987. She served for several years as Medical Director of Psychiatric Services at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, Plano, as well as Medical Director of Psychiatry at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. She has also worked as a medical director in a managed care setting. Dr. Donachie is one of the founding physicians of Bent Tree Psychiatric Associates of North Texas (the medical services provider of Smart Health and Wellness Centers) and has served as Chief Medical Officer of Salience TMS Neuro Solutions (provider of TMS therapy to patients at Smart Health and Wellness Centers) since 2016.
