Lisa Beaver, Nurse Practitioner Joins SHWC

Smart Health & Wellness Centers is pleased to welcome Lisa Beaver, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in dual-diagnosis and medication-assisted treatment for addiction. Lisa is an Ohio native and has been practicing in the Dallas area since 2017.

She received her Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Belmont College in St. Clairsville, Ohio (1997), her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio (2010), and a Master of Science degree in Nursing – with a Family Nurse Practitioner certificate – from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio (2013).

Lisa has shown herself to be a dedicated and accomplished nurse practitioner, experienced in mental health and addition medicine, as well as urgent care and family and geriatric care. Lisa’s special area of interest is treating patients who in the past have been resistant to medication compliance. She is valued by her patients and peers for being an excellent listener and a compassionate health care provider. Lisa encourages each patient’s involvement in designing their treatment plan, collaborating with them as well as their doctor and family members, to ensure the best possible outcome and an enhanced quality of life.

In her leisure time, Lisa is an avid gardener who also enjoys spending time with her husband and grandson.
