A Texas native, Dr. Steinfink was raised in Austin. He attended the University of Texas and went on to Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his residency in Adult and Child Psychiatry at Parkland Memorial Hospital and Children's Medical Center of Dallas. He has practiced adult, adolescent, and child psychiatry in Dallas since 1978. Currently, Dr. Steinfink sees patients at our Plano location, treating adults for general psychiatric conditions. Since 2012, he has been involved in providing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy, an innovative treatment for depression and other conditions. He has completed TMS coursework at Harvard, and now serves as the Texas Clinical Director of Salience TMS Neuro Solutions (provider of TMS therapy to patients at Smart Health & Wellness Centers).
